Residents’ permissions

According to Vilnius City Council Resolution No. 1-276 as of 02/25/04, car owners that have declared their residence in houses at tollable streets and sites, have the possibility to get parking permission from ME Susisiekimo paslaugos.

ME Susisiekimo paslaugos has to issue permission or to deny it in 5 workdays after getting request and documents. Permission is not issued if a person has possibility to park his car in free of charge place near a house where he or she is registered.

In order to get a permission is necessary to supply: 

• Filled up special form with request to issue residents’ permission
• Persons’ passport;
• Residence permit with registration mark  (or a copy of a document issued according to laws of LR or other legal acts regarding persons’ residence; if there is no mark in persons’ passport about his/her registration in that flat, it is necessary to submit residence certifying document foreseen by the order of the Minister of the Interior);
• Copy of car registration (if the car owner is another person, should be submitted and copy of the driving licence).

Permission is valid for one year near the building indicated in the permission. It could be issued only for one person and for one vehicle; if a more than one person have declared their residence in a many-storied house flat (or in one-flat house), permission is issued only for one person who first has applied to Municipal Enterprise Susisiekimo paslaugos, for other persons permissions could not be issued.
