Supervision of parking order

Car parking order on the streets and in car parks supervise police officers. Municipal Enterprise Susisiekimo paslaugos in order to create good working conditions for supervision of paid car parks, has purchased special vehicles, locking devices and has assigned workers.

Four crews supervise paid public car parks and control cars that are left in impermissible places. Co-operation of our company and Police ensures traffic safety, public order and preventive work in other districts of the city. According to order established by administrative code, article No 269, p. 8, a car could be clamped if:

  • the driver has not paid for car parking at paid parking lot,
  • Has not left a ticket first side up at car windscreen that could be seen,
  • Time indicated on the ticket or prepaid by SMS has expired;
 - A car has been left at reserved parking lot without special permission issued by Police department and placed on the windscreen; - pažeidžiamos kitos Keli? eismo taisykl?s.

Police officers could impose 100-150 Lt fine envisaged by the Article 1241 of the Administrative Code for breach of the order of vehicle parking. All fines imposed for the breach of the vehicle parking order get into state budget.
